Fantastic looking model. Steering wheel control is a stuff of legends. Corgi way ahead of it's time back then.
Nicely done model. Will look good beside it's Red & White parallel version.
Overall....a stunning set. One that was totally unexpected. Honestly I thought Corgi/Hornby was going to release a version 1st due to them coming out with the 267 with the integrated tow hitch. Which brings me to my only issue with this set. What is going on with the use of the gold paint instead of gold plated parts? This reminds me of the gold paint used on the latest Chitty Chitty Bang Bang instead of gold plating there. The gold paint is very distracting and almost ruins the look of the models and appear cheap. This is an Excellent effort. Again 1 that I think caught most people off guard and is definitely a bonus to the collection. As usual the box and packaging are top notch. But CMC...please ditch the gold paint. We pay good money for these products and clearly research does go into these. In keeping with the originals....Classic Corgi Toys used gold plating right to the end.
